"ALADDIN’S CAVES" AS CAR PARKS
Recd. 6 p.m. London, Nov. 21 Huge underground car parks— Aladin’s caves—will be built under cities and big towns to keep cars off the roads. Lord Walkden announced this in the House of Lords when outlining a new £250,000 road safety campaign. The Government is advancing loans to local authorities to finance the construction of car parks.
