GOLF AT BELMONT
VETERANS’ TOURNAMENT Now that hostilities have ceased and the petrol position has eased, it has been decided to hold a two-dav Veterans’ Tournament at Belmont this year. The dates fixed are Thursday and Friday, Not ember 29 and 30. The Gordon-Harrison Cun will be competed for over two rounds stroke Play each 15 holes, holes 4. 5, and 6 being eliminated. In addition there will be stroke bogev and four-ball matches. Competitors must be 55 or over. ™ Entries close with F. ,T. Hill, secretary, Wancanui Golf Chib, on Monday. November 26. and the entrance fee for all events has been fixed at 15s.
