CADETSHIPS OPEN FOR DUNTRCON

< p .A.) Wellington, Nov. 20. “A preliminary selection o£ candidates for cadetships at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, is being made by the Army department. The cadetships are for those who desire to make the Army their permanent profession, and it is proposed to select 20 to 25 candidates for interview and a testing course at the Army School, Trentham, after which those to go to Australia will be chosen," said the Minister of Defence to-day. Candidates are required to be British subjects and the sons of i British subjects and of pure European or Maori blood.
