METHODIST CHURCH
DISTRICT SYNOD TO BE HELD IN WANGANUI.
More than 50 ministers and laymen will attend the annual District Synod of the Wanganui-Taranaki district of the Methodist Church of New Zealand, which wil begin its sessions in Wanganui on Tuesday in Trinity Church. '
All the vital questions of the hour are to be found on the agenda as well as the running of the business of the Church in. this area. The ministers will assemble for their particular session on Tuesday afternoon and on Tuesday evening a welcome social will be held in Trinity Church, the address being given by the Rev. Ivo M. Rayner of New Plymouth. The representative sessions will begin on the Wednesday with a service of Holy Communion. The Rev. J. H. Allen, of New Plymouth, the chairman of the district, will preside at all the sessions of the synod.
