Change in Wanganui City Transport System Recommended.—A typical trolley bus, of a type recommended by the city engineer and tramways engineer and manager (Mr. L. F. Row) in a comprehensive report to the City Council. Mr. Row says that the present tramway system has a maximum life of five years, and to renew it will cost £155,000 for tracks alone. He recommends a trolley bus service with buses of the type shown above, at a total cost estimated to be £130,000.
