SECRET TO BE HANDED TO U-N.O.

COMMUNIQUE EXPECTED Recd. 9 p.m. Washington, Nov. 15. President Truman, Mr. Attlee and Mr. Mackenzie King agreed to hand over the secret of atomic energy to the United Nations Organisation, says lhe “New York Times” correspondent. There is a provision that Russia clarifies her post-war aspirations and agrees to throw secret military potentials into the common pool. It is understood some details remain to be worked out, but a communique is expected before the departure of Mr. Attlee and Mr. Mackenzie King for Ottawa to-morrow afternoon.

Russian physicists investigating cosmic rays with the aid of a threeton magnet In an Armenian mountain laboratory, discovered a new group of cosmic particles which they named component cosmic rays, says the Moscow correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph.” The physicists have worked since last August at a secluded spot 11,000 ft. above sea level on Mt.
