J. Jordan, High Commissioner in London for New Zealand. on his arrival at Christchurch, with Mrs. Jordan. The marriage of Wing Commander John Milne Checketts to Miss Natalie Mary Qrover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Grover, took place at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, St. Albans, on Saturday. On their arrival by air from Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. Jordan were the guests of the commanding officer of the Wigram Air Force Station for lunch, and afterwards they visited the Burwood Hospital for military patients. The rest of the day was occupied with visiting friends. During the week-end they visited soldiers in two hospitals, in company with Captain C. H. Upham, V.C., and Bar, and yesterday they were given a civic reception. ___________
