CITY REVALUATION
MINISTER'S ASSURANCE Advice that a start would be made with revaluation of Wanganui, in an endeavour to complete the work by March 31, 1947, was received by the City Council at its monthly meeting last night from the Minister in Charge of Valuations (Mr. Skinner), who stated that he was fully aware of the need for this revaluation being carried out. The Mayor, Hon. W. J. Ragers, moved that a deputation go to Wellington in the near future and wait on the Minister, stressing the urgent need for revaluation in the city. The motion was carried.
