BULLS SALE

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report m the fortnightly sale held on l ionlay last, when a large entry oi sheep ind cattle and a medium voiding oi pigs weie submitted o one oi the largest attendance of buyers seen al Bulls sale for some considerable tinv. The entry in the sheep section comprised several pens of hoggets and )dd pens of fat sheep. Hogge sold to a fair enquiry with values on a par with recent sales. Local butchers operated freely in the fat sheep, and an excellent sale resulted. Fat cattle also commanded good prices, with prices fully firm on late rate?. The demand for the several pens of station cattle on offer ..as not so keen as the previous sale, but nevertheless buyers met the market. Values for weaner heifers were also back a shade. Pigs met with a keen sale at advanced prices. A great deal of intere t was taken in the special sale c f implements on account of Cohn Whaie, which met with keen competition, realisations
