PRICES MAY COME DOWN i (P.A.) Christchurch, Nov. 12. 1 A hint that motor vehicle tyres ; will shortly be reduced in price, and that the price of petrol might also ’ be reduced, was given by Mr. C. A. Sexton, a member of the Goods Ser- « vice Charges Tribunal, which began a public sitting in Christchurch today. "You have this comfort, costs are • on the down grade and tyres will ■ come down and probably petrol,” ’ said Mr. Sexton, when consideration ! was being given to an applicatioirfor ’ an increase on the existing scale of charges for the carriage of goods.
