KELGIE SHEEP HANDLER
An exhibit of considerable interest to sheepfarmers at the Wanganui Show was the KELGIE Sheep Handler, and from the demonstrations given farmers were able to see (he practical value of lhe invention. Primarily designed for the easy foot-rotting of sheep, it can also be used to buttonhole or light crutch and for this purpose the quick run-through makes the job easy and efficient. The sheep are run through the race in the ordinary way and into the box. which is then inverted and opened, leaving the animal cramped into position on Ils back. The feet can then be properly treated, the sheep released, and the box is again ready to take lhe next. The Handler is so fitted that there is no
stooping for the operator, and no illeffects from the handling of the sheep. Heavy in-lamb ewes can be put through with confidence and rams can be handled quickly and easily This is an invention which will enable farmers to control foot rot and of very definite .value to lhe primary producers of this country. The Handler is made by the KELGIE Sheep Handler Co., of Waverley.*
