WORLD ORGANISATION
FIRST SUBJECT FOR DISCUSSION Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 9. A new meeting of representatives of Britain, America, Russia, France and China will be the first subject disl cussed between Mr. Attlee and President Truman, says the “Daily Telegraph’s'’ political correspondent. The British Cabinet, at a meeting yester-
day’, agreed that the importance of establishing an effective World Organisation transcends that of the immediate disposal of the atomic bomb secrets. It held that no useful purpose would be served at present by offering other countries the knowledge so far acquired. The Government believes the World Organisation is the only body suitable lor controlling research. Cabinet decided that the five Powers should at first share the secret which, in due course, should be imparted to other members of the World Organisation. An expert committee of military staffs would decide when and how the bomb should be used if world security was threatened.
