FEILDING SALE
(P.A.) Feeding, Nov. 9. Small yardings and dull sales were the order of the day at the stock sale to-day with a somewhat listless atmosphere. Fat sheep continue to fall in price, and for store sheep the market was very quiet. The run cattle market was good for grown bullocks, but for young cattle the market was lifeless. Dairy cattle sold fairly well. The market fqr fat cattle has dropped on recent ruling rates. Rang of sale prices:— Fat Sheep.—Wethers, prime, 38s lOd; fair, .from 34s lOd: hoggets, prime, 33s 4d: good to 30s Id; inferior from 25s lOd. Ewes: Prime, 27s 6d; good, to 26s Id; fair, from 22s 4d. Store Sheep.—Ewe hoggets: Medium 395; fair at 245. Wether hoggets: Fairly good 255; other pens, 18s 8d to 22s 3d.
Daily springing cows and heifers to £l2. Run Cattle.—P.A. bullocks, £l4 10s and £l4 11s; two and three-year steers £9 to £ll 10s; P.A. heifers, £5 15s; fat bullocks, £l7 15s; others were passed at £l7; vealers to £5 10s.
