WAHINE WITHDRAWN
WILL MAKE TRIP TO SYDNEY (P.A.) Wellington, Nov. 8. The intei'-Island steamer Wahine, which recently returned to Wellington after completing three trips from the Pacific with returning servicemen, and which was scheduled to resume (he normal inter-island service at the end of this week, has again been requisitioned by the Government. Consequently she will leave Wellington for Sydney to bring back New Zealanders awaiting return to the Dominion. She is due back at Wellington on Wednesday, November 21, and will resume the inter-island service the following day. The Sydney trip will upset, booking arrangements made for the inter-island service during the period the Wahine is absent.
