There are many like him ... sons of fallen servicemen, country lads who come to Wellington for their first job, orphans ... and, because their wages aren’t sufficient to cover good private board, they turn to the Boys’ Institute, where they find clean living, hobbies, companionship and sound guidance. We'd like to help them all . . . but the present Hostel is inadequate. If you knew how hard a task it is to turn a deserving boy away, you would understand the urgency of our appeal for funds with which to build a fine new Hostel for 100 boys. To do this, and to complete our general development programme, , we’re appealing for £50,000 . . will you help? Make your donations payable to The Boys’ Institute, Wellington.
