TAWHERO GOLF CLUB
SUMMER SEASON OPENS ON SATURDAY. Members of Tawhero* Golf Club will open the summer season on Saturday with a Stableford. Despite counterattractions of summer sports, an everincreasing number of devotees of “the sma’ white hall” are continuing their golfing activities over the summer months. Tawhero Club, in addition to the Summer Cup, which is medal play over five Munds, also feature a Summer Handicap (match play, under the two-life system), as well as a wellbalanced programme of other matches over the summer months.
