PICCOLO WINS CUP BUT HAS PLACINGS REVERSED <PA.) Timaru, Sept. 23. The Geraldine Racing Club had fine weather for its meeting, a record crowd and a record totalisator turnover of £35,415, against the previous best, £27,455 10s last year. Piccolo won the Cup from All Night but the placings were reversed owing to interference and C. Stokes, rider of Piccolo, was suspended for two months. R.
