DISTRICT. DEPUTY GRAND MASTER INSTALLED
ODDFELLOWS LODGE.
In the presence of a large attendance of members of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, the election and installation took place of the new District Deputy Grand Master, Bro. A. L. Robb, Grand Master of New Zealand, presided, and after the election Bro. A. H. Page was installed as D.D.G.M. of the Wanganui administrative district.
Th:S order has a world membership of about 2,500,000 with lodges in pract<cally every European country. In Germany, during the Hitler regime, the branches of the order were destroyed, and the funds confiscated. Bro. Page thanked the dLtrict for electing him to high office. The Grand Master was assisted in the ceremony by Past D.D.G. Masters G. Allardyce, O. Larsen and F. L. Armstrong.
