AUCKLAND BUS DRIVERS
TRIBUNAL TO CONSIDER THEIR GRIEV ANCES'
(P.A.) Auckland, Sept. 9. The acting-Minister of Labour, Mr. O’Brien, has agreed to set up a tribunal to consider matters in the dispute between the Auckland bus drivers and their employers. The result of this decision is that drivers will not now carry out t heir threat to cease operations altc/ the completion of the final shift to day. the time limit placed by the men on their request for the tribunal. The Minister, who arrived from* Wellington, received the secretary of the Auckland Drivers’ Union, Mr. L. G. Matthews, and a committee of lhe drivers.
