SLEEPY FOX CRITICISED
Sydney, Sept. 6. Randwick track men say that the New Zealander Sleepy Fox has deposed the Queenslander Abbeville as the prince of trotters. One experienced watcher says he has never seen man Sea. oFrecast to 5 p.m.: Modso readily as Sleepy Fox. Even Abbeville gives a bit of a skip before he changes gait, but. Sleepy Fox does not falter. The track men agree about the plainess of Sleepy Fox, and one critic says there is not a chance of the gelding staying. He bases'this on the application of the old Arab rule of bal-ance-equal measurements from the upper lip to the middle of the wither to the last, joint of the tail. Sleepy fox is said to be a full three inches out of balance, and ,says the critic, no horse that much out of balance can stay.
