Mr. G. P. Aldridge, secretary of the New Zealand Boxing Association, is visiting Wanganui. Mr. K. Harris, formerly accountant for the Palmerston North Hospital Board, has taken over his new duties as secretary of the Wanganui Hosp-ita! Board Warrant Officer Keith J. Coombe. The Wanganui East Anglican Bible Class will be associated with to.light’s function. A Christchurch message reports the death of Mr. Frederick Wilding, New Zealand’s senior King’s Counsel, who had a record of more than 60 years’ active legal practice, commencing in Christchurch in 1879. He was the father of Anthony Wilding, famous New Zealand and international tennis champion.
