O’Toole auditor, Mr. E. M. Silk. Thanks were extended to all who had helped the association during the year. A lengthy discussion took place on the coming big Guide rally to celebrate the 21st. anniversary of the movement. Detail plans were given by Miss E. Brown. Reviewing the activities of a verybusy year the annual report expresses regret that a drive for Guiders — despite careful planning an organisation—received very little support and efforts weie practically unrewarded. In response to a call from headquarters for clothing for Polish refugees, three large packing cases and two trunks were forwarded to Wellington. A drive for clean rags for the services resulted in over a ton being collected and sorted and despatched to Ohakea. Books were collected for the Merchant Navy. Many successful efforts have been held to assist the funds, and outings of various kinds have been held. These were reported on by individual companies and packs.
