Pilot-Qfficer Douglas E. McElwain, R.N.Z.A.F., has been promoted to the rank of flying officer, states the New Zealand Gazette. Mr. Percy Tingey, Wellington, is visiting Wanganui, and was a guest of the Wanganui Rotary Club at the weekly luncheon yesterday. Pilot-Officer Richard Allan Falconer, R.N.Z.A.F.. has been promoted to the rank of flying officer, according to last week’s issue of the New Zealand Gazette. Mr. W. A. Veitch. Wellington, a former Minister of Railways and member of Parliament for Wanganui, was a guest at the Wanganui Rotary Club’s weekly luncheon yesterday. Mr. M. L. Lampe was elected president of tiie N.Z. Professional Photographers’ Association, at the annual conference in Christchurbh last week. Mr. Lampe returned to Wanganui during the week-end.
