Pilot-Officer M. A. Nagel, son of Mr. H. C. Nagel, Wanganui, is reported as missing on air operations, according to an Air Force casualty list issued last night. Mr. M. G. Willington, Christchurch and Dunedin delegates. Mr. C. J. Strongman, superintendent of State mines, who was formerly chairman of the Coal Council, has resigned his position. He was replaced by Mr. John Dowgray (Granily), who has now been replaced by I Mr. Job Hughes, inspector of mines, Dunedin.
