WOMAN’S DEATH FOLLOWS SERIOUS BURNS
(P.A.) Auckland, Aug. 24. The death occurred at the Auckland hospital this morning of Mrs. Elizabeth Margaret Ross, aged 55, as a result of burns r-Tered at her home yesterday afte. Her husband suffered burns t ■ his hands in putting out flames from his wife’s burning dress. Mrs. Ross went to the washhouse to light the copper, but it is not known how her dress caught alight.
