Friends kindly note that the funeral of the late Gilbert Claude Armstrong will leave St. David’s Presbyterian Church, at 2 p.m., to-day (Tuesday, August 15, 1944>, for the Taihape Cemetery.—F. W. Somerville, Ltd., Funeral Directors. Taihape.
The Brethren of Lodge Otaihape, No. 142, are requested to attend the funeral of their late brother, Gilbert Claude Armstrong, which will leave St. David’s Presbyterian Church today (Tuesday), for the Taihape Cemetery. C. W. NEWPORT, W.M. BORTHWICK—On August 14 1944, at Wanganui, Janet, dearly beloved only daughter of Mrs. Vivian Borthwick (Wanganui) and Thomas (overseas); aged 31 years. Private interment. Dempsey and Sons, Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui. ORTON—On August 12, 1944 (as the result of an accident). Robert William, beloved husband of Claire Mabel.
