NATIONAL PARTY
BRANCH FORMED AT GONVILLE A branch of the National Party was formed at the Town Hall, Gonvillc. last evening when Mr. A. Kidd presided over a good attendance. Addresses were delivered by Messis. Eric Kirk, Harry Delves and H. C. Jenkins. Mr. Kirk (president of the Wanganui Electorate) outlined the organisation and the plan of campaign for the coming three years. He said that it was gratifying to find so much support in Wanganui, for where previously indifference prevailed now flourishing branches were in existence with increasing memberships. Mr. Delves dealt, with the industrial organisation of the Dominion and the work of trades unions and how they were managed. Mr. Jenkins outlined the policy of I the party and expounded its underlying principles. * i
