REORGANISATION ON A WIDER BASIS SIX OPPOSITION MEMBERS Recd. 8 p.m. Rugby, April 22.' Mrshal Badoglio, announced on Friday evening the formation of a new Italian Government, on a broadened basis, states a Naples correspondent. With the exception of the Ministers of the three services, who are unchanged, and the Finance Minister, who is an Independent; the Cabinet posts go to members of six Opposition parties. A Communist has been appointed Under-Secretary for War and a Socialist Under-Secretary for the Navy. The Under-Secretary of Finance is also a Communist. The announced members of the new Government are:— Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marshal Badoglio. Minister of War: General Orlando. I Minister of the Navy: Admiral de| Courten. Minister for Air: General Sandalli. The Minister of the Interior is aj Christian Democrat (unnamed). j Minister Finance: Signor Quintieri (Independent). 1 The Ministers of Education and Public Works are from the Action Party. The Minister of Justice is a Liberal. 'l'l)p Minister of Communications is a Liberal Democrat. Th e Minister of Agriculture is a Communist. The Minister of Labour is a SocialTwo Communists, one Socialist, and one Christian Democrat are amongst the Ministers Without Portfolio.
