Lieutenant-Colonel F. Waite, D. 5.0., M.L.C., National Patriotic Fund Boarti Commissioner in the -Middle East, will visit Wanganui to-day and will give an address to-night. For many years he was on the Otago Daily Times literary staff and is the author of the volume “New Zealanders at Gallipoli.' Lieutenant-Colonel Waite has had a notable public career and was appointed to the Upper House in 1934.
