WOOL APPRAISAL
WANGANUI OFFICIAL REPORT “The fifth wool appraisal of the season was completed yesterday, the offering comprising 13,244. bales,” states the official report of the Wanganui ''.f 00l Brokers’ Association. “A large proportion of the offering comprised brokers’ binned wools, also interlots and odd bales held over from previous appraisements, with a sprinkling of later shorn clips. Most of the fleece had been caught by seed, some lots being very heavily seeded. There was a wide range of lambs' wool, including good clean wools from Rangitikei and Waverley. There was the usual range of skirtings.” The next Wanganui appraisement has now been fixed for April 19.
