CRAWFORD CUP CROQUET
In a challenge match for the Crawford Cup, played on the Wanganui Croquet Club’s lawns on Victoria Park yesterday, Durie Hill won the trophy, on points from Wanganui East, scoring 1'29 to the defenders’ 116. Each team won three games. In the following results the Durie Hill players are mentioned first:—Rev. Burgin won from Mrs. Harris 26—7; Mrs. Bourgeois lost to Mrs. Drummond 14—26; Mrs. Ogier won from Mrs. Currin 26—19; A. E. Dixon won from Mrs. Chapman 26—12; Mrs. Ogier and A. E. Dixon lost to Mesdames Currin and Chapman 12—26; Mrs. Bourgeois and Rev. Burgin lost to Mesdames Harris and Drummond 25—26.
