SOLDIER CARRIED OUT TO SEA AND DROWNED

(P.A.) Palmerston North, Feb. 10. While visiting the Himatangi beach with a party yesterday, John Kenneth Marshall, aged 22, a soldier, was carried out to sea and drowned while bathing. His father is Mr. E. G. Marshall, of Newtown, Wellington. The tragedy occurred on the victim’s birthday.
