EXCESSIVE PRICES IN FIJI Suva, Jan. 7. P. J. Patel, Indian wholesale storekeeper, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and a fine of £4OO, in default a further six months, on a charge of selling textile piece goods at excessive prices. His excess profit was £7B. Tulsibhai, on a similar offence, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment and a fine of £3OO. in default three months. The excess profits in this case were £l4O.
