VALUES AT FEILDING (P.A.) Feilding, Jan. 7. The long spell of dry weather had a marked effect on to-day stock sale, the first fbr this year. Prices for fat sheep were easier by about one shilling, but there was a fair inquiry for
J store lambs. Several pens of store I cattle were yarded but were not I offered as no interest was apparent. II The fat cattle market was fair. Range of prices:—Fat lambs, shorn to 16s lOd, woolly to 25s lOd; fat ewes, shorn to 16s; fat shorn wethers to 22s lOd. Store lambs, from 7s 7d to 17s . ,8d; two-tooth wethers, 19s 6d to 22s t; 6d. Fat P.A. cows, £8 17s 6d to £9 17s - 6d: heifers to £8 17s 6d; ex-dairv cows, r I £5 17s 6d to £7 17s 6d.
