U.S. AIR ACE RECORD
Reed. 11.45 p.m. York. Jan. 6 It is officially announced that Major Gregor Boyington, of the Marines, has equalled the American “ace” record by shooting down 2G enemy planes. Major Boyington thus equals tne record of Contain “Eddie" Rickenbacker in the last war and Major Joseph Foss in this war.
