MISSING AT ONEHUNGA
MOTHER OF NINE CHILDREN (P.A.) Auckland, Jan. 4. Inquiries are being made by the police regarding the whereabouts ol Mrs. Eilen Caroline Lawson, a married woman with nine children, a member of the Salvation Army, who has been missing from her home at Mangere since New Year’s Eve. Mrs. Lawson left home on Fridajl evening with the intention, it is believed, of attending a Salvation Army service at Onehunga. According to in. formation received by the police, her 10-year-old son accompanied her as far as the Onehunga side of the Mangere bridge, where she gave him soma money and he returned home. Mr. Lawson arrived home at 11 p.m. after working late, and his wife was then missing. Aged 35 years, Mrs. Lawson waj wearing a Salvation Army uniform. Inquiries have been made by the police among relatives and friends but so far without success.
