OBITUARY
MRS. E. BLAKEY The death occurred on New Year’s Eve of Mrs. Elizabeth Blakey, at the age of 94. Mrs. Blakey, who was born in Nottinghamshire, came to New Zealand at the age of 13. She lived in Eden Terrace, Auckland, from her arrival in this country to the time of her death, and suffered no serious illness. Mrs. Blakey is survived by one daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One grandson is a prisoner of war in Germany. DIRS. MARGARET DONNELLY
At the age of 92 the death has occurred at Mareretu of Mrs. Margaret Donnelly. Born at Thomondgate, Limerick, Ireland, Mrs. Donnelly was married in 1871 and continued to live in her native town, where she brought up her family. Her husband was in the army, seeing service in India, while her two sons served in the Boer War and grandsons served in the Great War or are serving in the present conflict. Mrs. Donnelly came to New Zealand in 1924 some time after her husband's death.
