INTO MOSIR MARSHES
RUSSIANS PUSH AHEAD Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 19. Russian cavalry are striking westward from Ryechitsa, 20 miles west of Gomel, while tanks and infantry which stormed the town have pushed on and entered the Mosir marshes, states a Moscow message.
The fighting In the area of Zhitomir and Korostyshev is developing into a struggle between panzers and Soviet tanks and artillery. Aided by aircraft Russian guns and mortars have wiped out several enemy tank groups.— 8.0.W.
