THE MARIGNY CASE

ORDER OF DEPORTATION Recd. 6 p.m. New York, Nov. 17. In acquitting Alfred de Marigny on a charge of having murdered his father-in-law, Sir Harry Oakes, the jury recommended that Marigny be deported from the Bahamas. Following a meeting of the State Executive, an order has now been issued requesting Marigny to leave the Bahamas. It is reported that he will leave within a fortnight, and hopes to go to Mexico. He is a native of Mauritius.
