HIGH PRICE FOR WOOL
APPRAISAL AT AUCKLAND (P.A.) Auckland, Nov. 17. The highest price realised at a wool appraisal in the Dominion since Government purchase has operated, was obtained at the second Auckland appraisal, which concluded yesterday. For wool sent by Mr. E. Day, Awaroa, Waiheke Island. 25d per lb. was secured for superfined halfbred. 22id for fine halfbred, 21d for strong halfbred. 17Jd for fine crossbred, and 141 d for halfbred pieces. Last vear the highest price realised'was 24Jd per lb. for South Island super merino.
