AIR RAIDS IN BURMA
Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 15. Japanese-occupied villages and troop positions in the Kalemyo area were the principal targets of R.A.F. dive-bombers and fighter-bombers on Sunday, and in attacks not previously reported which were made on Saturday. states an India communique. Bombs burst in all the target areas and direct hits were scored on buildings. Fighters, continuing their attacks on road and river communications, damaged a steamer and other river craft on the Irrawaddy and army lorires. Two R.A.F. aircraft are missing.—B.O.W.
