ART UNION WINNER
(P.A.) Napier, Sept. 30. The winner of the first prize in the “Lot to Lift” art union is Mr. Francis Norman Hunt, retired passenger foreman, New Zealand Railways, aged 72. He was visiting a neighbour whose daughter was listening-in to the results and heard Mr. Hunt's name given as the winner. Three of his four sons are in the Army, and one is missing in Burma. Mr.' Hunt said he would give the prize away to have the boy brought home safe.
