ACES RAISE THEiR SCORE (Special Correspondent—N.Z.P.A.) Recd. b p.m. London, Sept. 28. Wing-Commander W. V. C. Compton shot down another Focke-Wulf on September 23 during an all-day offensive over northern France, it made his score 15i. Flight-Lieutenant Gray Stenborg (Auckland) also got one, making his score 14. He previously had a narrowescape when a German was on his tail, but a British pilot yelled a warning over his radiophone and shot down the German. Then Stenborg got his Get man in a dogfight.
