BRAINS TRUST BEATEN
Recd. 11 p.m. London, Sept. 29. A 12-year-old Birmingham boy stumped the 8.8.C.’s Brains Trust last night when he linked the question: “I am learning French and would like to know why they divide words into masculine and feminine genders?” All members of the Trust, including Yvonne Arnaud, French actress, Professor Andrade, of Ixindon University, Professor Saurat, of the French Institute. and C. B. Cochran, well-known showman, were forced to admit that they were unable to answer.
