WARPLANE’S FEAT
THREE U-BOAT’S DESTROYED
Recd. 6 p.m. London, Sept. 28. It is announced in Washington that three German U.-boats were sunk in the Atlantic recently by a single aircraft flying from an escort carrier on convoy duty.
A fourth submarine is reported to have been damaged. Sixty-five survivors were picked up by destroyers.
