AIRMEN RESCUED
SPENT NIGHT IN DINGHY (P.A.) Wellington. Sept. 29 The crew of an R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft was rescued off the coast of New Zealand this morning after having spent the night in a dinghy following on a forced landing late yesterdav afternoon. Aerial and sea searches were immediately instituted following advice that the aircraft had made a forced landing, and contact was soon made. The personnel involved were: Flight-
Sergeant John Lindsay Allen (whose wife is Mrs. E. M. Allen, Auckland); Temporary-Sergeant Douglas George Kilgour (whose wife is Mrs. M. H. Kilgour, Auckland); Flight-Sergeant Philip James Field (whose wife is ! Mrs. A. D. E. Field, Nelson), and ! Flight-Sergeant Malcolm Jack Fry I (whose mother is Mrs. A. F. Fry, ; Auckland).
