REORGANISATION FOR HOME FORCES OXLY Recd. 10.5 p.m. Ottawa, Sept. 14. Defence headquarters issued a statement that the reorganisation of the Home Army did not involve modification of the overseas programme. “The physically fit will be retained. Those unlit for combat will be assigned less active duties. Others in the lower categories will be discharged from the Army lor essential civilian service. The result will be fewer but ’stronger units and a higher category of personnel.”
