TWO WARD MEMORIAL SHIELD MATCHES Scheduled as the last matches for the 1943 season in the J. A. Ward Memorial Shield series, two matches will be played on Spriggens Park tomorrow. The first game will be between Wanganui senior representatives and Featherston Camp fifteen. The last-named side is a solid combination and is captained by J. M. Taylor, a former All Black. Players in the side include Jack Morgan, D. Ahern and Jim Waters, all former Wanganui men. The personnel of the teams for tomorrow’s engagements is:— Waiouru Team.—Bums, Tobin, Foote, Garguilo, Healy, Tawhiti, Masterton, Manson, Morgan, Wallis, Marton, Murray, Miller, Phillips, Wigney, Emergencies: Gill, Johanson, Wikatene, Bull. Featherston Camp Team.—Brown, McMahon-Box, Gargan, Rapson, Swayne, J. M. Taylor, Black, Grenfell, Ahern, W’aters, Mason, Anderson, Morgan, Cameron. Mouldey. Emergencies: Backs, Stewart N. Hodge; forwards, Berry, A. Hodge.
