Juvenile Destroyed. The Phaleron Bay—Helen filly Phalenean, owned by Mr. A. J. Hughes, crossed her legs when being pulled up at the end of an exercise gallop on the Wanganui tracks yesterday morning. She came down heavily and broke both her forelegs, having to be destroyed. The rider, K. Chote. was badly shaken and was taken to hospital for examination, but his injuries were found to be not. serious. Mr. Hughes will be sympathised with in the loss of this promising juvenile.
