NAZI TREACHERY TO POLES
Recd. 6 p.m. London, Sept. 1. Some revelations bearing on. Germany's treachery to Poland were made known to-night in a broadcast by the former Polish Ambassador in Berlin. He is now a lietuenant in the Polish army. He said that two days before the Nazis invaded Poland ne inSormed Ribbentrop of the readiness of the Polish Cabinet to undertake direct conversations, and Ribbentrop undertook to tell Hitler, but. on returning to telephone Warsaw he found the line had been cut. Fortyeight hours later German aircraft were raining bombs on Polish cities.
